Luna Display Combines iPad Pro and Mac Mini into a Unique Workstation

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you combined the new iPad Pro with the Mac Mini? Luna Display offers a slick solution to combine the two by using the iPad Pro as a display for the Mac Mini.

Luna Display experimented with using the iPad Pro as a wireless display for the new Mac Mini. The developers shared their results in a blog post, which details their findings and their solution:

“When you launch Luna, you’re running your macOS on your iPad; and when you close out of the Luna app, you have a regular iPad Pro again. It’s strange and exciting all at the same time, but once you settle into your workflow, it makes you wonder why this hasn’t been an obvious product pairing for Apple all along.”

The solution also allows you to move between using a mouse and keyboard or the iPad’s touch screen as input with ease. The developers behind the feature said that using this setup was using “like a whole new Apple product!”

The entire solution will run you approximately $80 USD, which is probably the cheapest way you can find to add a wireless touch screen display to your Mac Mini. Would this be something that you would find useful? Let us know in the comments below!
