Last year, wireless carriers went into a frenzy offering customers the popular $60/10GB holiday plan. Now, it appears Koodo may be offering this promo plan to some current customers via Self Serve or by phoning in.
RFD user ‘pitahbread’ posted they were able to get the $60/10GB plan, which includes unlimited Canada-wide calling, by logging into the Koodo online Self Serve.
“I have a current plan with Koodo with $300 tab remaining and was offer this plan on my self serve,” writes the user. No expiry date was listed on the promotional offering—seen in the screenshot below—but a new Small or Medium Tab upgrade was required.
Another RFD user ‘jellytime’ said they were able to get this plan by calling in, explaining “I signed up with [Koodo] on a regular plan, then called in to change the plan to the 10GB @$60. Was done with a regular level CSR, no retention needed.”
This offer is, of course, another YMMV (your mileage may vary), but if you’ve been eager to get this $60/10GB plan you missed out on from last year, it’s time to do some work either online or on the phone to see if you can get it. It’s not unusual for Koodo to offer the $60/10GB plan like this, as earlier in the year they similarly offered it to select customers.
