Back in February of this year, Apple launched pre-orders for Belkin’s Wemo Bridge, priced at $49.95. The bridge allows compatible Wemo smart products to work with Apple HomeKit.
Fast forward ten months later, and it appears the price of the Wemo Bridge was recently dropped by $10 to $39.95 on Apple.ca and at Apple Stores.
The Wemo Bridge allows users with Wemo smart devices to work with Apple HomeKit, which previously was not possible:
This smart bridge allows you to connect your Wemo smart plugs and light switches to Apple HomeKit, enabling you to easily and securely control your smart home using the Apple Home app and Siri on an iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.
The Wemo Bridge works with: Wemo Mini, Wemo Dimmer, Wemo Light Switch, Wemo Insight Smart Plug, Wemo Switch and Wemo Switch + Motion.
Amazon.ca currently sells the Wemo Bridge for $58 and it’s $59 from Costco.ca. This $39.95 price looks to be a recent price drop, which also applies to Apple USA, currently selling the Wemo Bridge for $29.95 USD.
