Apple has announced its music-making app GarageBand is set to celebrate its 15th birthday on Sunday, January 6th.
Available for iOS and Mac, GarageBand was first introduced way back at Macworld ’04, by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and musician John Mayer.
According to Apple, GarageBand “has grown to be the most widely used music app in the world — and is now on over 1 billion iPhones, iPads and Macs globally.”
Aside from novices and professionals using GarageBand software, it’s also being utilized by teachers around the world in their classrooms, to let students make music for the first time.
