Bell Media has updated their Crave app for iPhone and iPad to bring new features, including improved streaming video quality.
According to the Crave iOS app update, users can now watch in 1080p on iPhone and iPad, while users can also zoom within videos. Previously, only a maximum video quality of 720p was available.
Also new is the “ability to limit the bandwidth video streaming uses,” which is not applicable to live streams, however.
Crave says there are also unnamed bug fixes with this update, which comes at the perfect time, just ahead of the final season release of Game of Thrones on April 14.
Bell Media launched a new version of Crave for iOS and Apple TV back in November 2018, to coincide with the new version of Crave, which now has an option for HBO streaming in Canada.
