SaskTel Improves LTE Wireless in Lloydminster

For SaskTel customers in Lloydminster, the company has announced wireless LTE upgrades have been completed.

A new cell tower has been launched, while upgrades to an existing tower in the east part of the city has been completed.

“By enhancing wireless services in Lloydminster, SaskTel is demonstrating their continued commitment to the residents of our province,” said Don Morgan, Minister Responsible for SaskTel, in an issued statement. “SaskTel understands people want fast and reliable technology, allowing them to stay connected to their world.”



SaskTel says these upgrades will allow “customers to enjoy more reliable voice and messaging as well as popular smartphone features like streaming HD movies, gaming or sharing pictures and videos.”

The wireless upgrades in Lloydminster today are part of SaskTel’s plan to invest $301 million in Saskatchewan in 2018-2019.
