Adobe Starts Accepting Applications for ‘Photoshop CC for iPad’ Beta Testers

As reported by 9to5Mac, select Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers have just received emails inviting them to sign up for Photoshop CC for the iPad beta program ahead of this year’s big release. While anyone can sign up for the beta as of today, there’s no indication, however, on when or if you’ll be invited.

Interested users can click this link to visit the Google Forms signup page where they can enter their email address, name, and explain why they’re interested in joining the beta program.

Adobe has been planning to bring “real Photoshop” to the iPad, with features like layers, masks, selections, transforming, and importable brushes. Photoshop CC for iPad will be the most powerful iOS app Adobe has ever released, even more than the Photoshop Sketch and Adobe Illustrator Draw.

Here’s how Adobe describes Photoshop for the iPad:

“Real Photoshop is coming to the iPad so you can create something unreal. All your familiar desktop tools and workflows are at your fingertips, from retouching and compositing to spot healing and blend modes. Layers? They’re all here. Resolution? No difference. Your PSDs are exactly the same, whether you’re working on your desktop or a mountain top.”
