Amazon Canada has discounted their Fire TV Stick streaming media players for 20% off, with both 1080p and 4K Ultra HD versions on sale.
Here’s what’s available:
The Fire TV Stick supports up to 1080p picture quality and Dolby audio, while the 4K version supports Ultra HD and HDR, HDR 10, Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10+, along with Dolby Atmos audio.
Both include the new Alexa Voice Remote and also recently gained support for CBC Gem, to go with other apps such as Netflix, Global, Crave, Prime Video, Bell Fibe TV and more.
Some owners of Fire TV Sticks ‘jailbreak’ these media players and install Kodi, allowing for access to various other streaming services such as IPTV.
