iOS 13.1, iPadOS 13 Public Beta Downloads Now Available

Following the surprise release of iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 beta yesterday for developers, Apple has released equivalent versions for Public beta testers.

You can download this latest Public beta update by going to Settings > General > Software Update on your iOS device.

Apple releasing iOS 13.1 beta and iPadOS 13.1 beta for developers and Public beta testers to go hands-on with suggests it wants its software ready for what is expected to be a busy fall.



iOS 13.1 beta brought back Automations within Shortcuts, while other features such as showing the volume indicator for AirPods and sharing your ETA with friends within Apple Maps.

Apple looks to be testing these features in iOS 13.1 instead of iOS 13.0 beta, meaning some features may not be ready at launch when iOS 13 drops for the masses. Just expect iOS 13.1 to be released shortly after iOS 13.
