Alleged 2020 iPhone Renders Reveal Notch-less 6.7-inch Display

A couple of weeks ago, Apple launched its latest iPhone 11 Pro / iPhone 11 Pro Max flagship smartphones featuring the same display design as last year’s iPhone XS / XS Max, including a large notch above the display that houses all the sensors as well as the Face ID and TrueDepth camera system.

Today, however, alleged images of an early 2020 iPhone render have hit the web that reveals a notch-less design and a 6.7-inch display. Looking at the images, it appears Apple has finally killed the notch by moving the speaker, ambient light and proximity sensors together with the Face ID and TrueDepth camera system into the top bezel.

The images come courtesy of Ben Geskin who is well known for his quality concept renders.

Now, we’ll have to wait for @OnLeaks to reveal Apple’s 2020 iPhone next spring, like he did for this year’s 2019 iPhone models. His track record is much better than Geskin’s.

Back in July, veteran analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had also claimed that next year’s iPhones could feature significantly smaller notch or possibly even remove it entirely.
