Tesla Cybertruck Pickup Reveal Coming November 21 Says Elon Musk

Tesla cybertruck unveil

Tesla has announced a date for its electric Cybertruck pickup unveil, set for November 21 in Los Angeles near the SpaceX rocket factory, according to company CEO Elon Musk.

The CEO sent out the date two hours ago on Twitter, noting “the date is strangely familiar” and then sharing a YouTube video to the opening titles of Blade Runner.

Last year, Musk teased the Cybertruck’s features, saying “The Tesla Truck will have dual motor all-wheel drive [with] crazy torque & a suspension that dynamically adjusts for load. Those will be standard.”

He also added, “Pickup truck will have power outlets allowing use of heavy duty 240V, high power tools in field all day. No generator needed.”

This summer, on a podcast episode of “Ride the Lightning”, Musk again teased the new truck “will be a better truck than an F-150 in terms of truck-like functionality, and be a better sports car than a standard [Porsche] 911. That’s the aspiration.”

Tesla recently announced its upcoming Model Y crossover SUV is ahead of schedule and will launch in the summer of 2020.
