The teardown experts over at iFixit have just started their signature teardown of Apple’s latest 16-Inch MacBook Pro, which is currently being broadcast live on YouTube.

Apple says the new Magic Keyboard comes with a “redesigned scissor mechanism and 1mm travel for a more satisfying key feel,” that offers the “best typing experience ever in a Mac notebook.” The teardown should give us a first look at the new keyboard, in addition to other internal components.
The new 16-Inch MacBook Pro also features a new thermal design that allows the notebook to “sustain up to 12 more watts during intensive workloads than the previous design.”
It also packs a larger 100 Wh battery, an updated Touch Bar, Touch ID and Force Touch trackpad, as well as the company’s T2 Security Chip.
