Analysts Predict iPhone 12 May Feature Up To 6GB of RAM

The overall consensus is that Apple will be releasing four new iPhones this fall. Many analysts have been predicting this over the past few months. Featuring 5G connectivity and OLED screen, it also appears as though the new generation of iPhones may also sport up to 6GB of RAM.

Reported by MacRumours, UBS analysts Timothy Arcuri and Munjal Shah predict Apple will release a 5.4-inch, two 6.1-inch, and a 6.7-inch iPhone as well. On top of that, the research notes created by Arcuri and Shah point out that the 6.7-inch and one of the 6.1-inch models will feature 6GB of RAM.

The claims made through the research notes align with previous reports, including one which noted that the higher-end 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch models would feature the triple-lens rear camera, while the 5.4-inch and second 6.1-inch models would only have a dual-lens rear camera. In addition, this backs up claims made in November, when a Barclays analyst first said that certain iPhone 12 models would be on track to support 6GB of RAM.

That same claim made from Barclays noted that the two flagship iPhone 12 devices would be revealed and released in September, while the remaining two entry-level devices would likely be released in March of 2021. However, more recent reports from analysts indicate that Apple may release all four devices within the 2020 calendar year.
