Apple today announced a new iPad Pro plus Magic Keyboard with Trackpad, with support for the latter coming in iPadOS 13.4, set to release next week.

To support the iPad (7th gen), iPad Air (3rd gen) and iPad Pro (10.5-inch) with a trackpad, Logitech has announced its new Combo Touch keyboard case.

This new case has Logitech’s iPad keyboard with Smart Connector, but adds a precision trackpad.

“The Combo Touch brings a new way to interact with iPad, giving you an on-screen cursor to edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations and to navigate in comfort with familiar gestures,” said Michele Hermann, vice president of mobility at Logitech, in a statement. “Our new keyboard brings over 20 years of Logitech typing experience together with a trackpad, and is compatible with the Smart Connector for an all-new iPad experience.”

The backlit keyboard has a full row of shortcut keys, five levels of brightness, while the accessory itself is powered by the Smart Connector on your iPad, so it never needs to be charged.

The Logitech Combo Touch launches in May 2020 for $149.99 USD. We’ll find out Canadian pricing for the Logitech Combo Touch soon, so stay tuned for updates.
