Belkin’s Infinity Folio Case for the New iPad mini Is Here

Belkin has a new case ready for the day the new iPad mini lands in Canada. It’s called Infinity Folio, and it’s made only for the A20 Pro model.
The cover comes off and folds into a stand. An easy-angle hinge snaps into place at several viewing angles, and Belkin says that hinge has been tested through more than 10,000 cycles. Higher angles suit streaming or a video call. Lower ones are meant for typing, reading or sketching.

A frosted translucent polycarbonate back lets the iPad’s colour show through. TPU corners, raised edges and an anti-scratch finish round out the shell, with precise cutouts for the buttons, ports and camera. Drop protection is rated up to 2 metres (6.6 ft) with 360° coverage, based on MIL-STD-810G testing by third-party labs.
Closing the magnetic cover puts the mini to sleep, and opening it wakes the screen. There is also a slot for Apple Pencil attachment, pairing and charging. Colours are Charcoal and Lunar Rock.
It’s available now at Apple retail stores and online, with more retailers expected to carry it by the end of the year.
The folio costs $99.95 CAD in Canada ($79.95 USD in the U.S.). It’s not cheap for a folio, but it’s ready on day one for a mini that already starts higher than the last one.
Still weighing a new iPad mini against a deal? The older model is on clearance at Staples, and we compared new vs old earlier this week. Belkin has kept a steady pace on accessories this year, from screen protectors to chargers.
Would you buy a day-one folio for the new mini, or wait to see what else shows up?
