Apple TV+ Launches Free ‘Oprah Talks COVID-19’ Series, No Subscription Required
Apple TV+ has launched a new free series from Oprah Winfrey, available for all to watch without the need for a subscription to the streaming service, reports Deadline.
The new series is called ‘Oprah Talks COVID-19’ and launched last night, with the first 30-minute interview featuring actor Idris Elba and wife Sabrina Dhowre, held via FaceTime.
Oprah teased a preview of the interview on Twitter Saturday night, seen below:

Both Elba and his wife are in quarantine after the actor was diagnosed with COVID-19 (he attended the same London event where Sophie Trudeau was also exposed to coronavirus).
This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing ???? No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

According to Apple, new episodes of Oprah Talks COVID-19 will debut weekly and will be free to watch globally. You can check out the first episode by clicking here.
Back in June 2018, Apple announced a multi-year media partnership with Winfrey, which also resulted in the media mogul creating content for Apple TV+.
