Apple has just announced in a (short) press release it has teamed up with media mogul, Oprah Winfrey, for a “unique, multi-year content partnership.”

Here’s how Apple explains the deal:
Together, Winfrey and Apple will create original programs that embrace her incomparable ability to connect with audiences around the world.
Winfrey’s projects will be released as part of a lineup of original content from Apple.
Apple has been offering content to users as part of subscriptions to Apple Music, and lately has been hiring and signing numerous content deals. Oprah’s OWN network has a variety of shows, including her talk show and others, such as Dr. Phil.
