Tesla Working on Subscription Plan for ‘Full Self-Driving Capability’ Package
According to a report by Electrek, Tesla is working on a new pay-as-you-go subscription plan for its ‘Full Self-Driving Capability’ package, which currently sells for a hefty $9,200 in Canada. CEO Elon Musk said last year that the company will be increasing the price of the package further as it continues to introduce new features.
The source notes that the electric car maker is now planning to make its self-driving less expensive with a pay-as-you-go subscription plan. As discovered by Tesla hacker Green, the code for the upcoming subscription is already on the app.
“There’s code for pay as you go subscription plan, has been for quite a while,” he tweeted.
there’s code for pay as you go subscription plan, has been for quite a while. Waiting for that eventual time when it will make sense I am sure 😉

Tesla may choose to offer a reduced price on the package through the app for the people who had Enhanced Autopilot, which included many of the features now found in the Full Self-Driving package.
