Eurasian Database Lists Several Unannounced iPhone and Mac Models

Apple has registered a significant number of unreleased iPhone models on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database. Nine of which point to iPhone and one to an unannounced iMac.

Apple’s new listings on the EEC database have been reported by 9to5Mac. It has been discovered that nine of the registered listings point to unreleased iPhone models. The model identifiers included are A2176, A2172, A2341, A2342, A2399, A2403, A2407, A2408, and the A2411.

Rumours have pointed to Apple releasing four new iPhones this year including a 5.4-inch handset, two 6.1-inch models, and one 6.7-inch device. One of the 6.1-inch along with the 6.7-inch device is said to be considered the high-end handsets of the ‘iPhone 12’ generation. There have also been discussions that Apple is transitioning to OLED displays this generation.

According to the report, the listings do mention that the devices will be running on iOS 13. However, it is likely that the EEC has referred to the current version of the software and will update the listings when iOS 14 is announced.

The EEC database has shown a listing for a new iMac model (A2330), running macOS 10.15.

Recent rumours have pointed to the possibility of Apple announcing a new redesign for the iMac during WWDC. The new iMac appears to be inspired by the iPad Pro design language and will feature smaller bezels. It will also reportedly feature AMD Navi graphics and the Apple T2 Security Chip.

The new wave of iPhone will also likely be announced during Apple’s product keynote. Apple has not officially released a schedule, however, WWDC is set to begin on Monday, June 22nd.
