How to Watch Apple’s WWDC 2020 Keynote Event
Apple is set to kick off its annual WWDC in just under an hour, an event set to be held online-only for the first time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company will start WWDC20 with its Special Event Keynote, set to stream at 10AM PDT/1PM EDT. How to watch the WWDC 2020 keynote, which will be streamed from Apple Park? There are more ways to watch it than ever before—check them out below:
- Apple.com
- Apple Developer app
- Apple Developer website
- Apple TV app
- YouTube
- China: Tencent, iQIYI, Bilibili, and Youku
If you’re watching on Apple.com, the company says, “This stream is best experienced on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using Safari on iOS 12 or later; a Mac using Safari on macOS Mojave 10.14 or later; or a PC using Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. Streaming to Apple TV via AirPlay requires an Apple TV (2nd generation or later) with the latest Apple TV software or tvOS. Other platforms may also be able to access the stream using recent versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264, and AAC required).”
Apple will again include on-demand playback of the event once the stream is over. What to expect at WWDC 2020? Apple will most likely again preview the next versions of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS and macOS for developers, while also announce the company’s transition to ARM-based Macs, transitioning away from Intel chips.
Looking like any possible hardware has been scrapped for WWDC tomorrow 🤔
Might be wrong about this one. Would love to be wrong!
I’ll be surprised with all of you, either way!

According to leaker Jon Prosser, he claims new hardware announcements likely won’t be part of the keynote.
Ahead of the WWDC keynote, Apple approved the Hey email iOS app, likely to lower the negativity and drama regarding the latter heading into the annual developer event.
