Quebec retailer Refurbished.ca is currently selling refurbished units of Apple’s HomePod speaker, available for $209.99, saving you $240 off (53%) versus buying new from Apple.ca.
The HomePod from the online retailer is only shipping to residents in Quebec or those able to pick up. If you’re in Quebec this is a pretty good price for Apple’s HomePod, and if you want one in black. White HomePods from the site were available earlier today but have sold out.
According to some users on RFD they have been happy with purchases from Refurbished.ca, noting their items are Costco returns and other products returned from other retailers. Last October, Costco was selling Apple HomePods on clearance for $299.
At about $200 for a HomePod, this is a decent price, if you’re looking for a speaker that sounds great, but is lacking because of Siri. There will be an option soon in iOS 14 to set new music defaults, aside from Apple Music, for HomePod.
