Elon Musk Confirms ‘Deep Crimson’ Tesla Model S Sighting as His Own Prototype

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has just confirmed on Twitter that the ‘deep crimson’ Tesla Model S seen parked at the SpaceX Headquarters is indeed his own car and that “it’s a prototype of the colour,” Tesla North is reporting.

Musk’s tweet came in response to a photo originally posted on Twitter by Ryan McCaffrey showing a Tesla Model S with its body painted in a mysterious colour. The vehicle was parked in a reserved spot and had been “painted and not just wrapped,” according to Teslarati.

Last week, Musk had revealed that Giga Berlin would roll out a ‘deep crimson’ shade as a paint option for Tesla vehicles. Musk had also tweeted about it back in April, saying that he had plans for Giga Berlin to include a lot of paint customization.

What do you guys think of the new ‘deep crimson’ colour option shown on Musk’s personal Model S?
