Apple Watch Edition Ceramic Axed, Titanium Gets $60 Price Increase

When Apple releases new products, existing product lines usually get shaken up as well.

One change is the removal of the Apple Watch Edition Ceramic case in white from Apple’s online store, with the launch of Series 6 today.

Last year, the Apple Watch Edition Series 5 was available in white Ceramic, but that option is gone. Last year, an Apple Watch with Ceramic case started at $1,749 CAD.

Below is a graphic showing Apple Watch Series 5 case options from 2019:

For Apple Watch Series 6 the new changes in colours are as follows…

  • Aluminum: Blue, Red
  • Stainless Steel: Silver, Graphite (DLC), Gold (PVD)

For Apple Watch Series 6 Stainless Steel cases, Graphic has replaced Space Black. Meanwhile, Gold in Stainless steel also gets a more yellow tint, versus the pink-is tint from last year.

Apple Watch Series 6 Titanium cases remain available in Titanium and Space Black, but see a $60 price increase to now start at $1,109 CAD for a 40mm config (44mm starts at $1,169 CAD), versus $1,049 CAD in 2019.

For Aluminum Apple Watch SE cases, they are only available in Silver, Space Grey and Gold, while Series 3 remains at Silver and Space Grey.
