iOS 14.2 Beta Download and More Released for Developers

As expected, Apple is well underway in releasing its next software release for iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14 and watchOS 7, as the first betas for a 14.2 update have been released.
Here’s what’s available for download right now for developers to test:
- Xcode 12.2 beta (12B5018i)
- iOS 14.2 beta (18B5052h)
- iPadOS 14.2 beta (18B5052h)
- watchOS 7.1 beta (18R5552f)
- tvOS 14.2 beta (18K5027e)
You’ll notice Apple is skipping 14.1 betas, instead rather jumping right into 14.2 betas.
As with any major software releases, Apple is still quickly fixing bugs, such as the issue currently that resets a user’s new default email or browser app within iOS 14.
Earlier today, Apple released macOS Big Sur 11 beta 7 for developers.
No word on what else is new in these updates, but stay tuned.
