How to See ‘AirTags’ Setup in the Find My App on iPhone Right Now
Earlier this month, leaker Jon Prosser released a 3D animation that apparently reveals just what, exactly, Apple’s upcoming ‘AirTags’ item tracker will look like and today, a Twitter user has discovered a way you can view the setup screen for the ‘AirTags’ on your iOS device right now.
I just got a notification for “item has been found” on iOS, and when I tapped it, it took me to “find my…” and this new page: pic.twitter.com/DEYOxOf3xr

To try this out on your iPhone or iPad, simply go to Safari and type findmy://items to get this screen. And if you tap the button, you will see the following animation.

As explained by developer Guilherme Rambo, the implementation is basically for third-party item trackers to develop with. Check out the following tweet for a better idea.

The upcoming ‘AirTags’ are expected to support some sort of augmented reality functionality to help locate lost items. The tracking devices will also support Ultra Wideband for improved location accuracy and services.
