If you are still using Apple’s AirPort Extreme wireless router, and want another one, Staples is clearing them out at $149.97, which is $100 off the retail price of $249.99.
The AirPort Extreme is showing its age, as it features 802.11 ac Wi-Fi (not Wi-Fi 6) and does not support mesh networking or smart controls for your home devices. You’re better off with newer and modern setups such as the excellent Eero 6 dual-band mesh Wi-Fi setup from Amazon, which we are currently fans of (more on these later).
But if you’re loyal to these Apple AirPort Extremes, this $149.97 clearance price might tickle your fancy. They are not selling online but are available for store pickup and stores in our area are showing as in stock.
