Google Stadia March Recap: HITMAN Free to Play, Resident Evil Games Coming Soon

In a blog post on Friday, Google published another episode of its Stadia Savepoint series, recapping the new features, game releases, and changes that came to the Google Stadia platform in March.

Last month, Stadia announced the impending arrival of the Resident Evil series on the platform. Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition launched on April 1 and is free to claim and play for Stadia Pro subscribers.

Stadia is also running a promotion where pre-order purchases of Resident Evil Village between March 22 and May 21 get a free Stadia Premiere Edition (while supplies last).

March saw HITMAN — Free Starter Pack join the fray as the latest free-to-play game for all Stadia users, joining the likes of Destiny 2, Super Bomberman R Online, and Crayta: Starter Edition.

New game releases on the Stadia platform during March included:

  • AVICII INVECTOR
  • Crayta – Alien Conspiracy Battle Pass
  • DIRT 5
  • Disco Elysium: The Final Cut
  • Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition
  • FIFA 21
  • HITMAN – Free Starter Pack
  • Immortals Fenyx Rising – Myths of the Eastern Realm
  • It came from space and ate our brains
  • Kaze and the Wild Masks
  • Killer Queen Black
  • Monster Jam Steel Titans 2
  • Murder by Numbers
  • Nanotale – Typing Chronicles
  • PixelJunk Raiders
  • Saints Row: The Third Remastered
  • Terraria
  • Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

The following four new games were added to Stadia for Stadia Pro subscribers in March:

  • PixelJunk Raiders
  • AVICII Invector
  • PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle
  • Reigns

Google also touted big ongoing discounts for Stadia Pro subscribers. In March, Google announced that the following titles would make their way to Stadia very soon:

  • Blue Fire
  • Life is Strange Remastered Collection
  • Resident Evil Village
  • Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition
  • Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
  • Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III
