Sonos and IKEA have collaborated on their Symfonisk line of products, which consists of a desk lamp and bookshelf speaker that integrates into a Sonos ecosystem, released back in 2019.
But now it appears a new product is coming soon, based on a teaser from both companies on social media, reports Pocket-lint.
Sonos took to Instagram Stories to share a video that says “looks like Symfonisk”, while the company told Pocket-lint, to say “The partnership [Sonos and Ikea] is stronger than ever and we’re excited about the products we’re working on together. We look forward to sharing more when the time is right.”
Also, an FCC filing made last week by both companies, suggests an imminent launch of a new product soon, dubbed “Ikea FHO-E1913” and “wireless device”. It’s unclear what may come, but some have hinted at a smaller desk lamp or a smaller speaker.
