SaskTel Waives Data Overage Charges Until June 30 Due to COVID-19

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, SaskTel has announced it is waiving data overage charges to “further assist customers” that are online learning or working from home.
SaskTel says there will be no data overage charges on domestic data for business or consumer customers on:
- SaskTel’s postpaid Wireless plans
- noSTRINGS Prepaid wireless plans
- SaskTel fusion Internet plans
“With the added increase in COVID-19 variants in the province and the return to online learning, our government understands the importance of staying connected during these trying times,” said Don Morgan, Minister Responsible for SaskTel, in a statement.
SaskTel internet plans already include unlimited bandwidth caps, explains the crown corporation, while it says it will keep providing access to news channels and free content for maxTV and maxTV Stream customers.
