Shared Routines in Canada

Customers in Canada are now able to share their favourite Alexa Routines with friends and family by turning Routines into shareable URL links.

To share a Routine, go to Routines in the Alexa app, select the Routine you want to share, then click on the three dots in the top right corner, and then click Share to choose if you’d like to send the Routine by text, email, WhatsApp, or social media.

Sportsnet NHL Trivia

On April 13, Sportsnet launched its NHL Trivia skill, a fun and entertaining skill for hockey fans to enjoy during this year’s socially distanced hockey season. Hosted by Jeff Marek, customers in Canada can now test their NHL trivia every week on Alexa and Echo smart speakers.

With game modes like Rookie and All-Star to appeal to a range of skill levels, Sportsnet NHL Trivia skill will be the ultimate challenge for hockey fans of all ages and backgrounds.

Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro

On April 7, Ring launched its most advanced outdoor camera with the newly re-designed Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro. The innovative new device is equipped with state-of-the-art features such as 3D Motion Detection, Bird’s Eye View, a 110db siren and colour night vision.

Customers can check in on their property anytime and anywhere from their mobile or Alexa-enabled device and can see and speak with visitors in real-time.

Kindle Cover Art Now Available for Lockscreen

This month, Kindle rolled out a convenient feature for users to see the book they’re currently reading without needing to open the device. Readers can now display the cover of the book they are currently reading on the lockscreen of select Kindle devices without ads.
