Twitter Now Lets You Sign In with Your Apple ID or Google Account

Twitter sign in apple

Twitter announced on Monday new sign in options for its mobile app and on the web that will benefit Google and Apple users.

“Sign on with ease and start scrolling your timeline,” explained Twitter. “Now, when you log in or sign up to join the conversation on Twitter, you have the option to use” the following:

  • Google Account on the app and on web
  • Apple ID on iOS, and soon on web

With Sign in With Apple, those with an Apple ID can just use the latter to sign in to create a new account and protect their email addresses.

What about adding Sign in With Apple to your existing Twitter account? According to the social network, it’s possible. “When you’re logging back in, you can choose “Continue with Apple” to sign in using your Apple ID (the email must be the same as your Twitter account email),” it explains.
