Tesla Rolls Out Updated iPhone App with UI Refresh, New Features

As noted by the folks over at Tesla North, an updated version of the Tesla iPhone app has just hit the App Store, that introduces a refreshed UI, a handful of new features, and support for various widget sizes in iOS 14.

The updated Tesla app brings improved phone key support, allowing users to open the door of any Tesla they own, without selecting the vehicle first.

Below is the changeling of what’s new in the Tesla app for iPhone v4.0:

• Refreshed vehicle and energy homepage
• Streamlined Summon experience
• Enhanced phone key support – vehicle no longer needs to be selected
• Send commands to the vehicle immediately upon opening the app
• Use Go Off-Grid to seamlessly disconnect your home from the Grid with Powerwall
• Shop the Tesla catalog and view and manage your orders (available in select countries)
• View Supercharging history and ability to pay outstanding Supercharging or service balance (available in select countries)
