Meta’s Muse Can Now Build Custom Spaces From a Description

Meta is adding a feature called spaces to its Muse AI agent, letting users describe a tool they want and have Muse build it inside the app.
The company says spaces are available starting today everywhere Muse is offered, which includes Canada, where Muse launched in September.
A space is a custom screen within Muse built around a single task or interest. Meta’s examples include a holiday gift tracker, a wedding planner with RSVPs and vendor invoices, a trip planner with flights and a daily itinerary, a school dashboard that pulls events from school emails into your calendar, and a trivia game about your favourite team.
You start by describing the idea in a chat, then keep refining it by asking Muse to add sections, change the look or adjust how it works.
Spaces can also be moved around the app. You can pin them to the sidebar, move them into the main tabs, hide ones you are not using, or schedule when they appear. Meta’s example is keeping a weekly planner up front during the workweek, then swapping in weekend plans on Saturday.
The more useful part depends on connected apps. If you link services to Muse, Meta says your spaces “keep themselves up to date in the background, so new concert dates, price changes, or savings progress show up without you having to ask.” You can check items off, add notes and make edits directly in a space, and the changes stay there for next time. Meta’s examples include using Instagram saves and Marketplace listings to populate spaces.
Spaces are personal for now as Meta says it is “exploring ways” to let people share spaces with others, but collaboration is not part of the launch.
Meta is also rolling out specialized versions of its models to Muse, trained with what it learned from its Muse Wonder model. Spaces are the latest in a run of Muse updates since launch, following the iPad app and Meta’s push into custom AI gadgets built through Muse.
