Facebook has just confirmed the date for its 8th annual Connect event, which will take place virtually on October 28, 2021, and will be free for everyone to attend.
The 2021 Facebook Connect event will allow attendees to experience the keynote and developer sessions from Facebook leaders and industry friends as they share the latest innovations and research in AR/VR, as well as Facebook’s vision for the metaverse.
The event will kick off with a keynote, followed by developer breakout sessions and John Carmack’s unscripted remarks.
“Together, we’ll explore the tools and trends that make interacting in virtual and augmented reality a more immersive, connected experience. And we’ll explore what it will take to bring the metaverse to life.
