Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Now Live, Bringing N64 and SEGA Genesis Games to the Console

As the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack launched late yesterday evening, N64 and SEGA Genesis titles have now become available to play on the handheld console hybrid.

During a Nintendo Direct last month, the company announced that a handful of N64 and SEGA Genesis games would be joining the Nintendo Switch Online catalogue in the form of an Expansion Pack. The new tier includes access to those included games. A 12-month Individual Membership subscription costs $63.99 CAD while a 12-month Family Membership (which includes up to eight accounts) costs $99.99 CAD. Base benefits such as the ability to play NES and SNES games, cloud saves, and online access is also included.

Additionally, the Expansion Pack includes access to Animal Crossing: New Horizon‘s upcoming Happy Home Paradise DLC. Launching on Nov. 5, Happy Home Paradise would otherwise cost players $32.99 CAD.
