Tubi Now Available on LG Smart TVs in Canada

Fox Entertainment-owned streaming service Tubi is now available on LG OLED Smart TVs in Canada, the US, Mexico, and Australia, letting users access a library of 35,000 movies and television series.

The Tubi streaming service can now be installed on LG OLED TVs and found on the Launcher Bar thanks to LG’s webOS platform. LG Magic Remote functionality is also available. Tubi and LG have also announced that the streamer’s catalogue will soon be fully integrated into LG’s on-device search.

Tubi supports partnered programming but is making a push to produce original content as well. LG Smart TV owners in the US can watch Tubi Originals including the service’s first original adult animated series ‘The Freak Brothers’ which stars Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, Tiffany Haddish, and Pete Davidson. ‘Swim’ and ‘Tales of a Fifth Grade Robin Hood’ are both Tubi Originals provided on the service. Tubi Original Documentaries from FOX Alternative Entertainment can soon be enjoyed by LG Smart TV owners as well.

LG joins 28 other platforms in supporting Tubi. The company has stated that this is more than any other ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) service. Tubi is available on iOS and Android devices as well as Amazon Echo Show, Google Nest Hub, Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, GoogleTV, Vizio TVs, Sony TVs, Samsung TVs, Hisense TVs, Comcast X1, Cox Contour, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox One and Series X | S
