Apple TV+ Original Tehran Season 2 Streams May 6, Featuring Glenn Close [VIDEO]

Apple TV+ original Tehran is set to stream its second season starting May 6, 2022. A new trailer was season two of Tehran was shared Wednesday. The new series will see American award-winning actress Glenn Close join the cast.

“Glenn Close joins Niv Sultan and Shaun Toub for an action packed new season of Tehran. Season 2 premieres May 6 on Apple TV+,” explains the video description.

The synopsis of the Israeli action thriller is described as follows: “Tamar is a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity to help destroy Iran’s nuclear creator. But when the mission fails and she’s trapped in a new life, Tamar must plan an operation that will place everyone dear to her in jeopardy.”

Season one of Tehran launched internationally on Apple TV+ back on September 25, 2020. It won an International Emmy Award for best drama series in November 2021.
