How to Use Assistive Touch on Your iPhone, iPad [VIDEO]

Apple has just another informative video on its YouTube support channel, explaining how you can use Assistive Touch to customize how you navigate your iPhone or iPad by creating your own menu and gestures.

Assistive Touch for iOS is particularly helpful for users who have difficulty touching the screen or pressing the buttons. You can use AssistiveTouch without any accessory to perform actions or gestures that are difficult for you.

With Assistive Touch, you can use a simple tap to perform actions such as the following:

  • Open the AssistiveTouch menu
  • Go to the Home screen
  • Double-tap
  • Perform multi-finger gestures
  • Access Control Center, notifications, Lock screen, or App Switcher
  • Take a screenshot
  • ..and more.

To turn on Assistive Touch:

  • Go to Settings  > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch.
  • Turn on Assistive Touch.

Simply drag the Assistive Touch menu button to move it to a new location on the screen.
