This is soccer legend and leading scorer Lionel Messi (in his sixth World Cup) and Argentina up against England and its star striker Harry Kane. The winner of this semi-final will face Spain in the final (they beat France yesterday). Argentina are the defending World Cup champions and they will be wearing their blue away kits today.
The match takes place today, Wednesday, July 15, at Atlanta Stadium, in Atlanta, Georgia (home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons). Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM ET. So yeah, most likely some diehard soccer fans will be magically skipping work this afternoon.
