Apple has just published another video on its YouTube support channel, explaining how you can download previously purchased Apple Pro apps on your Mac from the Mac App Store.
There are several ways to install and reinstall apps that you purchased with your Apple ID. If you make purchases on your iPhone, iPad, or another Mac, always sign in using the same Apple ID so you can see all of your store purchases on this Mac and download any available updates.
To re-download previously purchased apps on your Mac:
Open the App Store on your Mac.
Click your name in the sidebar, then find the app that you want to download. If you don’t see your name in the sidebar, click Sign In, sign in with your Apple ID, then click your photo in the sidebar.
If you use Family Sharing, you can choose a family member’s name next to “Purchased by” to see their purchases.
Click the download button for the app.
