After unveiling its new second-gen Apple Silicon M2 chip, the first computer to be powered by the latter is the all-new MacBook Air.
Gone is the wedge shape and a new MacBook Pro-like design that’s thinner with a larger 13.6-inch display, available in four colours: Silver, Space Grey, Starlight and Midnight.
Magnetic MagSafe for the charging connector is back, along with an audio jack.

The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display at 500 nits is 25% brighter compared to before, while the screen now supports 1 billion colours.
The front FaceTime camera is now 1080p, while there is a Magic Keyboard and a fan-less design, at just 2.7 pounds and 11.3mm and 18 hours of battery life.
The compact battery adapter now includes 2 USB-C ports for the first time, while the MacBook Air also supports fast charge, allowing for 50% charge in 30 minutes with a 67W adapter.
The M2 MacBook Air will be available next month priced from $1199 USD (Canadian pricing to follow).
