After announcing Stage Manager for macOS Ventura, Apple has announced the feature will be coming to an iPad Pro and iPad Air with M1 chip.
Stage Manager allows users to “create overlapping windows of different sizes, drag and drop windows from the side, and open apps from the Dock to create groups.”
You will be able to get full external display support with resolutions of up to 6K, plus work with up to four apps on iPad and four apps on your external display, allowing for 8 total apps.
Slowly but surely, iPads with an M1 processor are getting Mac features. Those without M1? Well you’ll have to open your wallet and upgrade!
