Hands-On Walkthrough: What’s New in iPadOS 16 [VIDEO]

CleanShot 2022 06 07 at 15 24 34

If you want to check out a full walkthrough of iPadOS 16 announced at WWDC22 on Monday, check out the following video shared by zollotech.

We get a closer look at the official Weather app for iPad, which has taken 12 years to make it to the tablet. Maybe one day a native calculator app will join as well (hopefully it doesn’t take 12 years).

With iPadOS 16, sadly the ability to have customized lock screens like iOS 16 is absent. But we can only hope Apple will bring this to the iPad to take full advantage of all that real estate.

Zollotech showcases new features including Stage Manager, Scribble and “desktop class apps” from Apple. We also get a closer look at contacts, system changes, reference mode, Photos, Accessibility, collaboration, Podcasts and more.

As it stands, Stage Manager is a feature that is exclusive to M1 iPad Air and iPad Pro models, so if you have an Apple tablet with an older processor, you’re out of luck.
