Apple to Reportedly Add Bigger Batteries to ‘iPhone 14’ Series
According to a report by 9to5Mac citing a recent post on the Chinese social media Baidu, Apple may include larger capacity batteries in its upcoming iPhone 14 lineup, except for the Pro Max model.
The source claims that the regular iPhone 14 may feature a larger 3,279 mAh battery compared to the iPhone 13, which sports a 3,227 mAh battery. Similarly, the 14 Pro could use a 3,200 mAh battery, compared to the iPhone 13 Pro’s 3,095 mAh.
However, the 14 Pro Max would instead have a slightly smaller battery, with a 4,323 mAh capacity battery compared to the 4,352 mAh battery found in the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The only model that can’t be compared is the rumored iPhone 14 Plus/Max, which is expected to have the bigger battery in this generation, 4,325 mAh.
In addition, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will likely get a new design with a hole-punch + pill cutout, the new A16 chip, and even better main sensors.
The iPhone 14 series is also expected to receive a major front-facing camera upgrade with autofocus, a six-part lens, and a larger f/1.9 aperture.
