Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 to Launch on August 10, According to Leak

Samsung’s new line foldable device, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is now expected to launch at a Galaxy Unpacked event held on August 10th. While details on the new foldable have been surfacing, Evan Blass has leaked a promotional photo of the event with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 slightly blurred.

First seen by The Verge, Blass posted an image revealing the assumed date of the Galaxy Unpacked event and the suspected launch date of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. While trying to be a bit cheeky, Blass writes, “This Image has been edited to obfuscate certain detail.” The image goes on to clearly show the August 10th date of the Unpacked event while slightly obscuring the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Prior to this leak, Blass and 91Mobiles shared suspected renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s side profile. While not blurred, the original images show off the device’s slightly more rounded body. The side buttons are also more well-defined. Plus, the camera array appears to be more pronounced and less flush with the rear of the phone. Samsung also seems to have altered the hinge of the device as well.

Exact details and specs should be officially announced during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, which is now all but confirmed to take place on August 10th.

In addition to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Samsung is expected to reveal the latest  Galaxy Fold device at the event. Rumours claim the new device is called the Galaxy Fold 4. If true, Samsung’s foldable lineup is merely getting iterative upgrades with no major additions or overhauls to the hardware.

Finally, Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked may also be the time the company reveals the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

It shouldn’t be long now until Samsung officially reveals the date and time of the Galaxy Unpacked event.
