This new installment promises an array of updated features, including an enhanced battle system, enriched demon interactions, and improved field exploration.

Revamped Battle System

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduces over 270 new and familiar demons, each equipped with unique Magatsuhi Skills. These powerful unison abilities are unlocked through a special talisman known as a periapt.

By gathering these demons as allies, players can gain a tactical advantage in battles with devastating attacks, support skills, or life-saving healing effects.

The battle system has undergone various updates, including the ability to use magic skills during auto-battle. These enhancements are applied across the Canon of Vengeance and Canon of Creation, enriching the overall gameplay experience.

New Demon Interactions

A standout feature in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is the ability for players to control individual demons during special side quests. These quests allow players to guide demons like Alice, Pixie, and new characters such as Nahobeeho through non-combat tasks.

The game also introduces Demon Haunts, a new feature that enables players to have special conversations with demons, friends, and Aogami. These interactions improve the Nahobino’s abilities, offer rewards, and allow for taking nostalgic pictures with a free camera mode.

Enhanced Field Exploration

Exploration in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is significantly improved with new elements such as Magatsuhi for fast travel, sky view for broader area visibility, and a full map view unobstructed by Abscesses.

Magatsuhi Rails offer shortcuts and access to previously hidden locations, including secret areas discovered via rail travel. The game’s storyline, Canon of Vengeance, features entirely new locations in Da’at, such as the vast Shinjuku Ward and the enigmatic dungeon Shakan.

To enhance the gaming experience, the game includes numerous updates and revisions. These enhancements range from increased relic pick-up ranges and the ability to read tutorials at any point, to gaining the initiative after enemy detection by striking from behind and reduced aerial ambushes.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance launches on June 14 for PS5 and PS4, promising an immersive and enriched gaming experience.
