Apple TV+ and MLB Announce ‘Friday Night Baseball’ July Schedule
Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) have unveiled the July schedule for ‘Friday Night Baseball,’ a weekly doubleheader series available to Apple TV+ subscribers throughout the 2024 regular season.

The ‘Friday Night Baseball’ broadcasts boast a stellar lineup of announcers and analysts, including Wayne Randazzo, Dontrelle Willis, Heidi Watney, Alex Faust, Ryan Spilborghs, and Tricia Whitaker.
Former MLB umpires Ted Barrett, Brian Gorman, and Dale Scott will provide expert analysis on rules and calls. Each week, game assignments for the announcers will be announced, ensuring fans enjoy top-tier commentary.
Lauren Gardner will host live pre- and postgame coverage, joined by former MLB player and analyst Xavier Scruggs, and baseball journalist Russell Dorsey. Notably, on July 26, the pregame show for the Rangers vs. Blue Jays and Dodgers vs. Astros games will be broadcast live from Minute Maid Park in Houston.
Produced by MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning production team in collaboration with Apple’s live sports production team, ‘Friday Night Baseball’ promises an unmatched viewing experience. State-of-the-art cameras, including drone cameras, will capture stunning live-action and aerial shots of the stadiums.

The broadcasts will feature immersive 5.1 sound with Spatial Audio, player microphones, and field-level microphones to bring fans closer to the action. Fans in the U.S. and Canada can also enjoy the audio from home and away teams’ local radio broadcasts during the games, offering a personalized listening experience.
