Fido Offering $55/160GB Canada-US Plan and More to Some Customers
Last week we told you about Fido offering some decent cellphone plans for existing customers, such as a $45/140GB Canada-US plan. Now, we’re hearing from you about more plans being offered by the Rogers-owned company.
Some Fido customers logging into their online accounts are seeing the following plans, according to iPhone in Canada readers:
- $45/120GB with 1,000 US and 1,000 Intl’ Long Distance Minutes
- $50/130GB with 1,000 US and 1,000 Intl’ Long Distance Minutes
- $55/160GB Canada-US talk, text and data
These special plans were offered to a Fido customer that’s been with the company for almost 20 years.
How to see these possible Fido offers? Just log into your account online and go to the option to switch plans. You should then see a bunch of plans highlighted with “exclusive plan for you” labels. These plans are likely offered to retain customers ahead of the fall, when enticing deals during Black Friday can result in people jumping ship.
Fido’s website only offers up to a $54/60GB plan right now. So these special offers are far better than what’s publicly available.

Can confirm. Was on a plan with FIDO for $45/mo and 25GB and checked my account. Got an offer for the same price, but 120GB of data + 1000min of US and International calling.
I've had enough of seeing these better deals that are never offered to me by Fido. Just jumped to Telus for a slightly better deal than Fido was willing to offer.
