Freedom Mobile Not Working on Nationwide Network for Some [Update]
Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile announced on Friday there’s a technical issue that’s preventing its customers from using partner networks right now.
“Due to a technical problem at one of our connectivity providers, some customers attempting to use data may experience intermittent degraded service when outside Freedom’s network footprint,” said Freedom Mobile on Friday morning.
“We take your access to data very seriously and are working diligently with our partners to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding,” added Freedom Mobile on X.
So, after almost 2 days with no data service, my phone decides it wants to connect to a 2G network?? Pretty sure that’s not supposed to exist anymore, didn’t matter though still didn’t give me any data. Does nobody check your social media account? 🤨 pic.twitter.com/I0nPdwxsRE

Many Freedom Mobile customers have taken to X to share their concerns, with some noting the outages have lasted nearly two days on the nationwide network. The timing is not exactly a convenient one with school out and people making their way out on early vacations.
Let us know if the Freedom Mobile nationwide networking is working for you or not right now.
Update: Freedom Mobile let us know service is being restored:
“Connectivity is progressively being restored for all users. We are closely monitoring the situation and are hopeful that the issue will be fully resolved shortly.”

My wife was complaining about her service not working earlier this week near Ladysmith on Vancouver Island, and a second time as recently as yesterday. This could explain a few things. I recall that she started having issues on Monday.

So for some reason the networks of the big 3 aren't working… only for the competition? Hmm…. that's not suspicious.
