Nintendo Canada and Boston Pizza have entered a partnership to launch new menu items and in-restaurant activities inspired by Mario and the Mushroom Kingdom.
From now until September 30th, Canadians can visit their local Boston Pizza where the kids menu has seen a Nintendo takeover. This includes the limited-time-only ‘Power-Up Mushroom & Pepperoni Pizza! Mamma Mia’.
It’s also been announced that there are a variety of activities featuring Nintendo characters and Nintendo Switch games available, including a Super Mario Bros. Wonder crossword.
On top of some new menu items, Boston Pizza will also be running a promotion for a chance to win one of 24 prize packs that include a Nintendo Switch (OLED Model). Plus, winners will be given a copy of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Princess Peach: Showtime!, and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD to play on their new console. Boston Pizza is also giving away an additional 20 prize packs with branded merch valued at $250 CAD. To enter, simply follow the instructions on the website.
Winners of the giveaway will be selected on October 1st, 2024.
Finally, each Sunday in September, guests at participating restaurants can order a Nintendo Switch to their table. Overseen by Boston Pizza staff, guests can borrow a console as they wait for their meal and play some fan-favourite Nintendo games. Locations of participating restaurants will be revealed at a later time.
